Health & Wellness Between classes, activities, jobs and all the other demands that fill the day, it’s easy to forget to take care of yourself. Fortunately, we’ve got you covered. Syracuse University is committed to helping you achieve healthy bodies and healthy minds. The resources below are here to assist you in reaching that goal. The Syracuse University Counseling Center is a comprehensive college mental health clinic available to all full-time graduate and undergraduate students from Syracuse University and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. The Counseling Center offers a variety of mental health services including: individual counseling, group counseling, consultation, referrals, psychiatric consultation, emergency services, and preventive mental health outreach and education programming. Counseling Center services are included in the student health fee and are completely confidential. Syracuse University Health Services (SUHS) specializes in college health and serves the health care needs of SU and SUNY ESF students. SUHS strives to engage students in their individual health care process. Services include:
111 Waverly Avenue Department of Recreation Services The Department of Recreation Services coordinates a variety of recreational programs, activities, and facilities at Syracuse University. The staff at Recreation Services invites you to learn about and participate in one of the many quality programs and activities offered to the students, faculty, staff, and campus community. The University R.A.P.E. Center provides comprehensive sexual assault prevention programs and twenty-four
hour crisis response, support and advocacy for students who have been sexually assaulted and all who are affected by sexual violence. The S.A.P.H.E. program offers education, resources, and short-term substance abuse education, counseling,
